New Zealand approves RCEP regional trade agreement

New Zealand’s Minister of Trade and Export Growth said on Wednesday that New Zealand has approved the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP).

“From the beginning of next year, companies will be able to take advantage of RCEP opportunities.” Minister Phil Twyford said in a statement.

RCEP is a trade agreement reached by 15 economies, including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and the ten countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN/ASEAN).
